1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Desgood website and the web design services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Desgood is a web design studio based in Southampton, Hampshire.

2. Services

Desgood provides web design, development, and related digital services for small and medium businesses. Our services include:

• Website design and development
• Website redesign and updates
• Local SEO optimisation
• Ongoing website maintenance and support
• Managed hosting services

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices quoted on our website are in GBP (£). Desgood is not VAT registered, so prices shown are the full amount payable. We require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion before the website goes live.

Monthly care plans and hosting fees are billed in advance via direct debit or card payment. Prices may be updated periodically, but existing contracts will honour the agreed rates for their duration.

4. Project Timeline

We aim to deliver most projects within 2-3 weeks from receiving your deposit and all required content (text, images, branding). Delays in receiving content or feedback from you may extend this timeline. We'll keep you informed of progress throughout the project.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide all necessary content, images, and materials in a timely manner
• Respond to requests for feedback within 5 working days where possible
• Ensure you have the right to use any content or images you provide
• Pay invoices according to the agreed schedule
• Provide accurate information about your business for your website

6. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you will own the website design and custom content created specifically for your project. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio and marketing materials. Third-party tools, fonts, images, or plugins may be subject to their own licences.

7. Revisions

Our packages include a set number of revision rounds as specified in your quote. Additional revisions beyond the included amount will be charged at our standard hourly rate. Major changes to the agreed scope may require a new quote.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

If you need to cancel your project, please let us know as soon as possible. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced, but we will provide you with any completed work. For monthly services, you may cancel with 30 days' notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to deliver high-quality work, we cannot guarantee specific business results such as increased sales or traffic. Desgood's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Third-Party Services

Your website may use third-party services such as hosting providers, domain registrars, or payment processors. These services have their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of third-party services.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
