Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how siu fai chui (developer) and desgood gaming (publisher) (“we”, “us”) handle information in connection with the VECTOR84 website, free Demo, and full game (together, the “Services”).

Contact for privacy requests: [email protected] (subject line: “VECTOR84 Privacy”).

1. Summary

  • This marketing website is static and does not require an account.
  • Game progress is stored locally on your device unless you use a third-party platform feature (for example Steam Cloud, if enabled later).
  • If you email us or submit a feedback form, we process the information you choose to send.
  • Steam and other platforms have their own privacy policies for purchases, accounts and telemetry they collect.

2. Who is responsible

For data we control directly (emails you send us, website hosting logs if any, feedback form replies we receive), the controller is siu fai chui / desgood gaming, contactable at [email protected].

3. Information we may process

3.1 Information you give us

  • Email address and message content when you contact support or press.
  • Responses you submit through our feedback form (for example Google Forms).
  • Any crash logs, screenshots or clips you attach.

3.2 Information from the game on your device

  • Local save data such as settings, unlocks and best scores (Demo and full builds use separate save files).
  • We do not require a VECTOR84 account to play.

3.3 Platform and store providers

If you download or buy VECTOR84 through Steam or another storefront, that platform may process account data, purchase records, hardware surveys, anti-cheat signals and usage analytics under their terms. We may receive aggregate sales or wishlist statistics from the platform.

3.4 Website technical data

If this site is hosted on a third-party host (for example GitHub Pages, Cloudflare Pages, Netlify), the host may automatically process standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, date/time and requested pages for security and reliability. We do not currently run advertising trackers on this site.

4. Why we process data

  • Respond to support, press and business enquiries.
  • Improve the game based on voluntary feedback and crash reports.
  • Operate and secure the website.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, our bases may include: performance of a contract (providing the game/support), legitimate interests (product improvement, security), consent (where we ask for it), and legal obligation.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

  • Service providers who host email, forms or the website (only as needed to operate those services).
  • Platforms such as Steam for distribution and related store features.
  • Professional advisers or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

6. International transfers

Service providers may process data in the UK, EEA, US or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers (for example standard contractual clauses).

7. Retention

  • Support emails and form responses: kept as long as needed to resolve the request and for reasonable business records (typically up to 24 months unless a longer period is required).
  • Local game saves: retained on your device until you delete them or uninstall.
  • Server logs: retained according to the host’s defaults, usually for a short security window.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To delete local Demo/full saves, remove the relevant files under the game’s user data folder or uninstall the product. Platform account deletion is handled by Steam (or the relevant store).

9. Children

VECTOR84 is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have, contact us to request deletion.

10. Cookies

This static site does not set first-party advertising cookies. If a future version adds analytics or embeds (for example a Steam widget), we will update this policy and, where required, request consent.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the Services after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
